Your mission

Design, implement, and extend key features of our core product, the “AVES Launcher”

Develop and optimize pipelines and interfaces for geospatial data, mapping systems, and 3D mesh processing.
Design custom model architectures and data pipelines leveraging the latest advancements in geospatial intelligence.
Analyze and benchmark deep learning architectures and training strategies (SL, RL, SSL) to maximize real-world performance.
Take full end-to-end ownership of features — from concept and implementation to testing, integration, and deployment.
Collaborate closely with our CTO on system architecture, feature planning, and technical strategy.

Your profile

3+ years in SW engineering with a focus on deep learning.

Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch (required); experience with C++/CUDA is a plus.
Proven experience developing machine learning solutions from inception to production.
You are an independent, creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset.
You are comfortable working in an agile, fast-moving startup environment.
Experience with AWS/GCP training infrastructure is a plus.
Experience with vision-language models or geospatial ML models is a plus.

About us

We are a young, dynamic software startup based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. As a modern company with a hybrid working model, parts of our team are based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Munich, and Sofia, Bulgaria, and we also have additional colleagues working remotely across Germany. We develop and sell software for AI-assisted geospatial data processing, satellite imagery analysis, and the reconstruction of digital 3D map models. Deine Aufgaben

Entwerfe, implementiere und erweitere zentrale Funktionen unseres Kernprodukts, dem “AVES Launcher”.

Entwickle und optimiere Pipelines und Schnittstellen für Geodaten, Mapping-Systeme und 3D-Mesh-Verarbeitung.
Konzipiere maßgeschneiderte Modellarchitekturen und Datenpipelines unter Nutzung der neuesten Fortschritte in der Geospatial Intelligence.
Analysiere und benchmarke Deep-Learning-Architekturen und Trainingsstrategien (SL, RL, SSL), um die Leistung in realen Anwendungen zu maximieren.
Übernimm vollständige End-to-End-Verantwortung für Features – von Konzept und Implementierung über Testing und Integration bis hin zum Deployment.
Arbeite eng mit unserem CTO an Systemarchitektur, Feature-Planung und technischer Strategie zusammen.

Dein Profil

3+ Jahre Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit Schwerpunkt Deep Learning.

Starke Kenntnisse in Python und PyTorch (erforderlich); Erfahrung mit C++/CUDA ist ein Plus.
Nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Machine-Learning-Lösungen – von der Idee bis zur Produktion.
Eigenständige, kreativer Problemlöser*in mit proaktivem Mindset.
Sicheres Arbeiten in einem agilen, schnelllebigen Startup-Umfeld.
Erfahrung mit Trainingsinfrastruktur auf AWS/GCP ist ein Plus.
Erfahrung mit Vision-Language-Modellen oder geospatialen ML-Modellen ist ebenfalls von Vorteil.
